Introduction

“As Sawt El Atiq” or “The Voice of One Time” is rooted in the Christian Middle East. It is dedicated to “the Ancient Places” that witnessed a glorious inheritance in spirituality and music. It also contemplates the biblical texts and the patristic writings and follows the path of Saint Ephrem the Syrian and Raphaël Mattar, the Lebanese monk, in praising The Ancient of Days (God).

“As Sawt El Atiq” is a group of young artists with the conviction that: God created man in the determined place and period where he must testify to his faith and his identity.
